THE BODY OF CROCODILE VICTIM HAVE BEEN FOUND

It was after the locals searched for it for three days and found it in the caves of Lake Victoria


Buchosa. The body of Rulensi Igayo (28) a resident of Kisaba village, Maisome ward, Buchosa District Council, Sengerema District, who lost his life by being eaten by crocodiles has been found after locals searched it in Lake Victoria for three days.

The woman lost her life on October 24 this year when she was eaten by a crocodile while bathing in the lake.

The chairman of Kisaba village in Maisome ward, Zuberi Yahaya said the body was found today at 4am after locals who had volunteered to search for it were found hidden in a stone cave in Lake Victoria.

The county's executive officer, Onesmo Daudi, said crocodile injuries and killings have been a regular occurrence, so the community should stop bathing in the lake instead of fetching water and bathing at home.

The incident where the woman was eaten by a crocodile occurred at around 12 am where the deceased went to wash and then take a shower and the crocodile grabbed her and disappeared with her.
