Interviewed by Kagera Community Radio (KCR FM) this morning, Public Education Officer from the National Electoral Commission (NEC) Mr Titus Mwanzalila said the criteria used was the return of presidential candidates' forms where CCM presidential candidate John Magufuli returned the form as the first. and Dundu Lissu returned as the latter.
He added that at the parliamentary and councilor levels candidates were nominated on ballot papers at the behest of the Commission
However, he said that was not the reason for the voter not to vote for the candidate he or she wanted.
At another point he said the commission is fully prepared to remove the challenges in this election process.

Hata hivyo amesema hiyo si sababu ya mpiga kura kutompigia kura mgombea anayemtaka.
Katika hatua nyingine amesema tume imejipanga kikamilifu kuondoa changamoto katika mchakato huu wa uchaguzi.
