Mgombea Urais kupitia ACT- Wazalendo, Bernard Membe amesema kuwa yeye bado ni mgombea urais halali wa chama hicho na atakipeleka katika Uchaguzi Mkuu wa Oktoba 28, 2020.
Akizungumza na Wanahabari amesema kuwa na chama chama kimoja tu cha upinzani ndio kunaweza kuondoa utawala uliopo madarakani, ila kuungana bado hakuja fanikiwa Afrika.
Membe ameongeza kwamba kuungana kwa vyama vya upinzani ni lazima chama tawala kipasuke kwanza ili kundi la pili lije upande wa pili ili kusaidia chama tawala kuangushwa.
“Mimi bado ni mgombea urais halali wa chama cha ACT-Wazalendo na nitakipeleka chama changu kwenye Uchaguzi Mkuu October 28”, alisema Membe kwa kujiamini na kuongeza kuwa ACT-Wazalendo ni chama chetu, ni chama kizuri kabisa na kinasera nzuri”.
Ameendelea kwa kusema, “Mazingira ya wapinzani kuiondoa CCM madarakani yameiva. Nilikuwa tayari kuiondoa serikali hii madarakani wakati nikiwa Chama cha Mapinduzi wanabahati yao walinifukuza”.

ACT-Wazalendo Presidential candidate Bernard Membe has stated that he is still the party's legitimate presidential candidate and will run in the October 28, 2020 General Elections.
Speaking to reporters, he said that having only one opposition party could overthrow the current administration, but unification has not yet succeeded in Africa.
Membe added that the unity of the opposition parties must split first so that the second group can come to the other side to help the ruling party be overthrown.
"I am still a legitimate candidate for the ACT-Wazalendo party and I will take my party to the General Elections on October 28," Membe said confidently, adding that ACT-Wazalendo is our party, a very good party and has good policies.
He went on to say, “The environment of the opposition to remove CCM from power is ripe. I was ready to remove this government from power when I was a Revolutionary Party and their lucky ones fired me ”.
