BOB WINE ARRESTED BY POLICE IN UGANDA

Uganda's presidential candidate through the National Unity Platform (NUP), Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bob Wine has been arrested by police shortly after addressing a crowd in Kampala after returning his presidential nomination form while his car was badly damaged by police.


 It is now official that Bobi Wine will face President Yoweri Museveni in next year's general election in 2021. It should be noted that after his credentials were checked, the chairman of the Electoral Commission, Justice Simon Byabakama said "We have verified the documents submitted by the candidate that he has met all the criteria for nomination." 


Bobi Wine was also reminded that public rallies are still banned and that all his campaigns will be conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Electoral Commission.
